Skunks recordings and.....?

4 years later - right - everything had changed…

I have a son, Bob and Kim have a daughter and so does Jerry and I decide gigs are not the way ahead,  Brighton has been taken over by promoters from all over the place and if you want to do a gig  you have to do it for nothing and wait  a year so I decide to do a couple of gigs as a way of rehearsing the band again with a view to recording our stuff for our fans.

 We do a couple of gigs at Midnite Blues in the Grand Hotel in Brighton and then then go and record our first album, “Funkskunks”.  I picked the numbers to put down which were our most liked numbers but not our  most challenging.  We recorded it at Church Road Studios in Hove with Julian who was fantastic.

 3 years later after that and after a few gigs in the Komedia and Joogleberrys Playhouse, we recorded our second album “Distracted”, which will probably be our last.  We have recorded all our best numbers and I haven’t heard anything I want to play, let alone record,  for years but I have planned a Christmas re-union gig!
